There is no greater honor for a photography studio than being chosen by a wedding coordinator. They know the business, they know the vendors; they have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. Most importantly, they are the ones that have the experience needed to make vendor recommendations to their brides and we feel honored to even be considered for their own weddings! We have had the privilege once more of being trusted by a professional in the business and we could not be more excited to share her beautiful images with you. Their beautiful celebration was held at the Wiens Family Cellars in Temecula, California. The flower decorations were executed by The Blooming Bud, the cake was created by Cakes to Celebrate and DJ Keelez kept the party going with her music selection.

Driving to Fredericksburg on February 28 for Ashley and Nathan's wedding was definitely an adventure. The trees were white, the roads were iced and the skyline was blurred by the fog. If you would have blindfolded me on the way and told me that I was in Colorado I would have believed you. Dane and I were probably the only two people that though of the weather as "cool" for pictures without adding any reference to temperature. As geeky photographers, our first thought was "how can we show the uniqueness of the day, without freezing our bride and groom to death? Thankfully that question was answered as soon as we got to St Mary’s Catholic Church and saw their beautiful water fountain turned completely into ice and their lovely in-door archway hall.  Guided by wedding coordinator Crystal Corpus, Ashley and Nathan designed their perfect country wedding. AMC floral Design's flowers and antique decorations adorned the Fillespie County Fair grounds with a classic country-chic touch so known to the town. Sophie's choice created Ashley's gorgeous four tier cake and Nathan's A&M emblem groom's cake. The reception was definitely a blast, full of love, fun, Aggies and cowboy hats and we wouldn't have had it any other way! The day might have been cold, but the warmness of the families in Fredericksburg and the immense love held between our beautiful bride and sweet groom definitely warmed up our day.

Before the ceremony even starts, a long day of set up, getting ready, prodding and primping has occurred.  What better way to blow off some steam, and of course, have it captured for future nostalgia, then to have a bit of picture-taking fun.  Here are some shots of past wedding parties shaking off the jitters.  I love how shoes are sometimes, "optional."  : )

Imagine my excitement when I got the call that Brenda and Neri wanted Dos Kiwis Wedding Photography and Studios to capture their wedding day in...wait for it....CABO SAN LUCAS!  Sandy shores, blue skies and ocean beaches made the perfect backdrop for their big day.  The wedding was held at the Dreams Los Cabos Resort .  Set along the sparkling Sea of Cortez, the resort captures the beauty and elegance of traditional, colonial Mexican design.

Enjoying a day at the spa and double checking all is perfect.  And it is...beautiful!

Looking out upon the ceremony site, waiting for the time to exchange vows.

Walking down the aisle with miles of smiles.

Mr. and Mrs.

Formal portraits at the ceremony gazebo draped in white.

A kiss in front of the beautiful Sea of Cortez.  The brides bouquet of orange lilies, mixed with white and orange roses.  The groom wore a boutonniere made of an orange calla lily.

What an awesome shot of the wedding party having a good time. Screams, and shouts, and high-fives.

The reception was held in the outdoor courtyard under the blue skies and white paper lanterns.  Here they are having their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Garcia.

The cutting of the cake...The groom is fireman, so his groom's cake would surely have a fireman theme.

Toasting under the stars and the glow of the paper lanterns.  So romantic...

Have you seen the "shoe game?"  The couple is asked questions and they each answer by raising either their own shoe or their spouse's.  Questions like...who wears the pants in the relationship?  lol  Let's just say it was a tie.

Brenda and her bestie girl friends.

One of the best garter photos ever!

Until our next adventure....
